Cuvântul Creează
Cuvântul Creează is an independent civic platform where Romanian citizens can submit opinions on public issues, have them reviewed and evaluated, and potentially forwarded to public institutions - with a chance to win a periodic prize for the most relevant, well-argued submissions.
My role
I designed the platform's interface myself, aiming for something that felt trustworthy and civic rather than bureaucratic or gimmicky - clear step-by-step explanations of how the process works, an accessible FAQ, and a tone that takes people's opinions seriously.
Beyond the frontend, I built the full backend in Next.js with Prisma and PostgreSQL - the opinion submission flow, an AI-assisted moderation step that screens submissions for abusive language and spam before anything reaches a human reviewer, a live Netopia payment integration for the verification fee, and automated email confirmations.
